This is the first posting to my blog!!! I am planning on using this blog to let my friends and family know what is going on in my life. Another up side is that I can journal a history of my life at the same time.
Today brought in very cold weather with temperatures to continue dropping throughout the weekend. I guess it could be worse, we could be experiencing a blizzard along with the low temps! I probably shouldn't have said anything....hope I didn't jinx us. We'll have to wait & see I guess.
Came home to a wonderful surprise.....daughter Amanda had spent the afternoon cleaning the house for me as well as straightening & organizing the office. The office had been such a disaster hole that we just kept the door closed....you had to enter at your own risk...no kidding!!! Now the entire house looks, smells and feels clean. THANK YOU, AMANDA!!!!
A second surprise was having daughter Elaine drop in for dinner & staying to visit with me while husband Buddy is working at the Fire Department tonight. I enjoy the company on nights when he is gone.
